  • Lunch is provided and happy hour is to follow after the meeting.
  • What to bring: a laptop
  • Directions: Information on getting to the Natural History Museum can be found HERE. Park in the California Science Center Visitor Parking structure (enter off Figueroa St). Tell parking attendant you are here for an educator workshop at NHM to receive free parking. Allow time for the walk from the Parking Structure to our meeting location. We are also conveniently located off the Metro Expo Line at the Expo Park/Vermont or Expo Park/USC station.

  • Check out Teaching Big History, our free, online professional development course, before attending the PLC. If you’re a new-to-BHP teacher, you’ll be light-years ahead. If you’re a veteran, you’ll get a helpful refresher.
  • We’ll be covering a lot of ground (um, like 13.8 billion years). Check out and download the specific materials in advance (below), so you can follow along at the PLC.
